Day 2- Parte III
Sarah here. Carmen´s family and I just returned from visiting her mother´s uncle at his apartment for his birthday. They were actually impressed with my Spanish! I think it has improved over even these last two days! The young boy there, Pablito, is learning English and had a brief conversation with me in English. Her family was very kind. It is 11:35 PM and I think I will head to bed soon. It has been a great day!

Hola, Sarah! Dad here. I am so excited for you and for all the adventures you are having. Glad to hear your Spanish is already improving. I have one more day of summer school duty, chasing down hooligans, and calming irate parents, and then three days next week, and then...finally...summer! Wooohooo. Mom seems to having a great time, and even though she claims her new pink nikes are giving her blisters, I must admit to a hint of runner's jealousy, hearing of her running through all the history and beauty of Burgos...alas, I will perservere in bringing home bacon...
ReplyDeleteConor and I are having a good time of it. Sorry to say we couldn't wait and went and saw Toy Story III-3D last night...we loved it.
Anyway, keep us all posted; your blog is muy bueno...we love you--have fun :-)
